Expand Access to Biomarker Testing in Georgia

The American Cancer Society’s Cancer Action Network is banding Georgians together to help push for House Bill 85 to expand biomarker testing.

Biomarker testing has been proven to be a beneficial treatment option for cancer patients. In 2022, we were able to listen to a couple of patients share their biomarker testing experience during our lung cancer programs and they’ve attributed their overall survival to this invaluable treatment option.

HB 85 could be heard as early as Monday, February 6, 2023! We’ll continue to keep you posted.

***Update February 6, 2023: Georga Biomarker Bill, HB 85, passed out of the House Committee and will move onto the Rules Committee soon.
