The African American Lung Cancer Patient & Caregiver Summit

April 23, 2026 @ 12:00 pm - April 25, 2026 @ 12:00 pm EDT

The 3rd Annual African American Lung Cancer Patient & Caregiver Summit, hosted by HEAL Collaborative, is a groundbreaking national gathering dedicated to addressing the urgent challenges and unique needs of Black communities facing lung cancer. Taking place April 23–25, 2026 in New Orleans, Louisiana, this Summit will bring together patients, caregivers, healthcare professionals, researchers, advocates, and community leaders for three days of education, empowerment, and action.

Our 2026 theme, “Restoring Hope Through Advancements in Lung Cancer Care, Treatments and the Voice of Communities,” reflects the Summit’s commitment to elevating patient and caregiver voices while showcasing innovations in care, research, and advocacy that bring real solutions to those most impacted.

Through main stage conversations, breakout sessions, and special community activations, attendees will explore critical topics including early detection, personalized treatment options, participation in clinical trials, environmental health equity, and the vital role of advocacy in shaping policy and improving access to care.

More than a conference, this Summit is a space for hope, healing, and solutions—equipping patients and caregivers with the tools, resources, and support they need to navigate a diagnosis, advocate for themselves and their loved ones, and connect with a broader community committed to lung health equity.

Together, we are building a future where every breath matters and every voice is heard.
