Colorectal Cancer: Screening to Treatment Workshop
A Community Conversation on Colon Cancer Prevention, Early Detection, and Survivorship
Join us for a powerful and life-saving conversation.
Colorectal cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death among men and women combined in the U.S. — and African Americans are disproportionately affected. In fact, African Americans are about 20% more likely to get colorectal cancer and 40% more likely to die from it than most other groups. These disparities are driven by barriers to early detection, limited access to quality care, and lifestyle factors.
This free community health education workshop is designed to educate, empower, and uplift our community with critical information on colorectal cancer prevention, screening, treatment, and survivorship.
Date: Saturday, June 21, 2025
Time: 11:00 AM – 1:30 PM
